Doncaster kicked off 2021 with a 1-0 FA Cup win over Blackburn Rovers, with the team beating Swindon Town in their last league match. The Donny aim to regain their spot in top two, but they can’t afford any complacency in the midweek clash. The Dale, on the other hand, have been playing some high-scoring games of late.

Brian Barry-Murphy’s troops have been impressive in front of goal in 2021, but given their shaky defence, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the promotion-chasing side. Experienced defender Jim McNulty is sidelined through suspension, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Donny.
