Our prediction for this Nations League match:
All eyes will be on Stadion Maksimir when Croatia and France face each other in the Nations League derby. Croatia did well to bounce back from back-to-back defeats to Portugal and France, with the team beating Sweden 2-1 thanks to Andrej Kramaric’s late goal. The Bayern Munchen target is pushing for a start, but, as always, a man to watch in the home team will be Real Madrid ace Luka Modric. Ante Rebic and Sime Vrsaljko remain in the recovery room for the hosts.
Les Tricolores, on the other hand, head into the match following a goalless draw with Portugal. Didier Deschamps’ troops aim to regain top position in the standings, but beating Croatia in Zagreb is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards at Stadion Maksimir, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Defender Dayot Upamecano is sidelined with injury for the visitors.
