After suffering elimination in the FA Cup, Crewe Alexandra will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Swindon Town in the League One round 15. The Railwaymen did well to beat Portsmouth in their last home game in the league, which is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Swindon. Callum Ainley, who suffered an injury in the FA Cup clash at the weekend, is unlikely to feature against the Robins.

Swindon Town, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Oxford United. The Robins aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but away win should not be considered as John Sheridan’s troops have already suffered four defeats on the road in the 2020/21 season. In their last meeting at Alexandra Stadium Crewe defeated Swindon 3-1.
