Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Crewe will be aiming to make amends for a 1-0 loss at Ipswich Town when they take on Gillingham at their Alexandra Stadium. The start of the season has been a mixed bag for the hosts, and, as a result, they sit in the middle of the table ahead of Matchday 11. The Gills, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing each of their previous five league fixtures.
The visitors are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Chesire, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Crewe’s party at Alexandra Stadium. It has to be noted that the newcomers are eyeing their third home win of the season as they defeated the likes of MK Dons and Wigan Athletic earlier in the process. Keep in mind that Gillingham midfielder Alex MacDonald will have to serve his ban against Crewe.
