Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Copenhagen and Rijeka go head to head at Parken Stadium in what is expected to be a close encounter. Copenhagen have been producing fine displays in the Europa League qualifiers, with the team beating the likes of Goteborg and Piast Gliwice on their way to the playoffs. The Danish champions did well to sign Kamil Wilczek in the summer transfer window, and the Polish attacker, who found the net in the 3rd qualifying round, is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
Rijeka, on the other hand, booked their place in the Europa League playoffs thanks to a 2-0 extra-time win over Kolos Kovalivka. The Croats are tough to beat at home, but seeing that they often struggle on the travels in European competitions, we are tempted to put our money on the in-form Danes this time out. The likes of Boilesen and Thomsen are likely to miss the game with injury for the hosts.
