Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Copenhagen and Piast Gliwice square off against each other at Parken Stadium in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of the Europa League third qualifying round. The Danes did well to make it to the Europa League quarter-finals last term, with the team making life difficult for Manchester United in Koln. Copenhagen eventually failed to book their place in the semis of the competition, but, no doubt, they would be happy with yet another top-8 finish.
Stale Solbakken’s men aim to build on a 2-1 win over Goteborg, and they are surely capable of beating the Polish side at home ground. Piast Gliwice did well to beat Hartberg 3-2 in the second qualifying round, but given their shaky defence, we are tempted to put our money on Copenhagen this time out. A man to watch in the home team will be summer signing Kamil Wilczek, who is likely to prove a handful for his compatriots.
