The Robins suffered their last defeat in the league back on November 3, with the team losing to Oldham Athletic, and it is no surprise bookies see them as favourites to win the midweek fixture. In their last home game in the League Two Cheltenham outplayed Exeter 5-3, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Bolton.

The Wanderers, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs in the first half of the season, but given their defensive displays in back-to-back losses to Port Vale (3-6) and Walsall (1-2), home win should definitely be considered.
