Our prediction for this Premier League match:
There will be fireworks when Chelsea and Manchester United face each other in the Premier League derby on Monday evening. Both sides are eyeing a place in the Champions League, but, as things stand now, the Blues are closer to securing a top-four finish than the Red Devils. Frank Lampard’s troops failed to win the previous three league fixtures, but their display in a 2-2 draw with third-placed Leicester City was anything but poor. It has to be noted that Lampard has almost a full squad to choose from against Man Utd.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, suffered yet another dip in form. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are on a three-game winless run in the national championship ahead of the trip to London, with Rashford, Pogba, and McTominay missing the game with injury. Even though former Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic returns from suspension, home win should be considered.
