Charleroi will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Oostende when they host Mechelen at their Stade du Pays de Charleroi. The Black and Whites made a flying start to the season, but they do not seem to be at their sharpest at the start of the year. Charleroi conceded five goals in total in the previous two league fixtures, but the fact that they defeated Anderlecht in their last home game is surely giving fans a reason for optimism.

Experienced defender Steeven Willems, who suffered an injury in the defeat to Oostende, is unlikely to feature against Mechelen. The visitors, on the other hand, have been in a splendid form of late, with the team beating the likes of Leuven, Mouscron, and Antwerp in the previous three league fixtures. Anyhow, share of spoils is on the cards as Charleroi are tough to beat at home.
