Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Buoyed by a 5-0 win over Ross County, Celtic will be looking to melt Rangers’ advantage in the Premiership standings when they host Livingston at their Celtic Park. The Hoops have already dropped two points at the start of the season, and, no doubt, they will go all guns blazing at the Lions on Matchday 8. Odsonne Edouard, who returned to the starting XI at the weekend, is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
The Lions, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 home loss to Hamilton, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Celtic’s party in Glasgow. David faces Goliath at Celtic Park on Saturday, and anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. In their last meeting at the venue Celtic rolled over Livingston 4-0, and the history is likely to repeat itself.
