As expected, Burnley were hammered by Man City at Etihad Stadium on Matchday 10. The Clares made a slow start to the season, but the fact that they defeated Crystal Palace in their last home game is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Everton. The good news for the hosts is that first-choice goalkeeper Nick Pope should recover in time to face the Toffees. Everton kicked off the new Premier League campaign in style, but, all of a sudden, they suffered a dip in form.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Leeds United where they had several clear-cut opportunities to score, and we are positive that the visitors will go all guns blazing at Burnley. The Toffees will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways, and even though full-backs Digne and Coleman are sidelined with injury, away win should be considered.
