Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Sunday’s football game at Stade Francis-Le Ble pits together Brest and Lorient, the two teams who are eyeing the Ligue 1 survival. Brest recorded their first win of the season at the weekend, with the team making amends for back-to-back defeats to Nimes and Marseille. The hosts regained a much-needed confidence, and, no doubt, they are capable of making life difficult for Lorient.
Les Merlus, on the other hand, have been struggling at the back of late, with the team suffering a shocking 3-2 loss to Lens at the home at the weekend. The newcomers aim to get back on course as soon as possible, but given Brest’s display in the 2-0 win over Dijon, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. It has to be noted, though, that both Pierre-Gabriel and Belkelba are likely to miss the game with injury.
