Wigan

Blackpool made a slow start to the season, but there were some positivities in the team’s display in the previous three league fixtures. The Seasiders did well to beat MK Dons and Burton, while losing to AFC Wimbledon, and they are surely capable of defeating the out-of-sorts Latics at home ground. Blackpool are eyeing a place in the League One playoffs, and this will be a good opportunity for the hosts to move a little closer to top six in the standings.

Wigan, on the other hand, do not seem to be competitive in the English third tier this season, with the team collecting only seven points from possible 30. The Latics looked anything but solid at the back in a 3-2 loss to Northampton at the weekend, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Seasiders.
