Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Benevento and Napoli go head to head at Stadio Ciro Vigorito on day 5 of the new Serie A campaign. The Neapolitans aim to build on a thrilling 4-1 win over Atalanta, and it should come as no surprise they are seen as hot favourites to beat the newcomers. Summer signing Victor Osimhen, who opened his goalscoring account against the Orobici, is widely expected to lead the line for the visitors.
The likes of Elmas and Zielinski are both likely to leave the quarantine before the Benevento game, while Insigne is rated doubtful for the match. The hosts, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-2 loss to Roma. Benevento obviously struggle at the back, and given Napoli’s attacking potential, anything but a routine away win would be a major surprise. A man to watch in the home team will be experienced attacker Gianluca Lapadula.
