Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Saturday’s football match at Estadio Nacional pits together Belenenses and Maritimo, the two bottom-table sides. Against all odds, Belenenses defeated Boavista in Porto at the weekend, with the team quickly bouncing back from back-to-back losses to the likes of Benfica and Santa Clara. O Belem aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but they will have to do it without suspended defender Danny Henriques, who found the net in the 2-1 win at Boavista.
Maritimo, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Jose Gomes’ men did well to crush Pacos de Ferreira on home soil at the weekend, but given their poor away record in the Primeira Liga, we are tempted to put our money on Belenenses this time out as the hosts regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend.
