The newcomers did well to beat Port Vale on the road on Boxing Day, and, no doubt, they are brimming with confidence ahead of the midweek clash. A man to watch in the home team will be Scott Quigley, who has been scoring goals for fun in December.

The Super Whites, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from the Boxing Day defeat to Bradford City. Considering that Tranmere failed to impress in their last league match, we are tempted to put our money on Barrow, who have been showing signs of improvement of late.
