Our prediction for this Europa League match:
After outplaying Petrocub 2-0 on their Europa League debut, TSC will be aiming to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on FCSB in the second qualifying round. Zoltan Szabo’s men have established themselves as one of the best Serbian clubs, but the game against Steaua will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. It has to be noted that midfielder Boris Varga misses the game through suspensions.
The Romanians, on the other hand, recorded a routine 3-0 win over Shirak Gyumri in round 1, and given their impressive start to the new domestic season, it is no surprise the visitors are seen as favourites to win Thursday’s qualifier. Steaua are a more experienced side than TSC, and that is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Romanian outfit. A man to watch in the away team will be Florin Tanase, who has been scoring goals for fun of late.
