Our prediction for this Europa League match:
A place in the Europa League group stages will be at stake when Ararat-Armenia and Crvena Zvezda face each other on Thursday evening. The Serbian champions failed to impress in the Europa League qualifier against Omonia, but they are seen as hot favourites to beat the Armenian outfit. Crvena Zvezda have been scoring goals for fun in the national championship, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against Ararat-Armenia.
Summer signing Diego Falcinelli, who has already started paying off, is pushing for a start for the visitors. Ararat-Armenia, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Dejan Stankovic’s troops by beating Fola and Celje after extra-time. The Armenians, though, will have a much bigger fish to fry against Crvena Zvezda, and seeing that Dejan Stankovic has a full squad to choose from, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors.
