Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Antwerp will be aiming to make amends for a heart-breaking 2-0 loss to Club Brugge when they take on Waregem in a midweek fixture. Playing on three fronts seems to be Antwerp’s main problem at the moment, with the team sitting in the 7th position in the standings ahead of Matchday 18. The hosts are eager to return to winning ways in the Jupiler League, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Waregem.
Jeremy Gelin is banned for the midweek match, while fellow defender Ritchie De Laet returns from suspension. The visitors, on the other hand, did well to hold Anderlecht to a 2-2 draw win their last league match. Waregem have been impressive in front of goal of late, and given Antwerp’s shaky defence, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Teenage midfielder Jannes Van Hecke remains on the sidelines through injury for the visiting team.
