Our prediction for this Copa del Rey match:
David faces Goliath face each other at Estadio El Collao as Alcoyano take on Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey last 32. Los Blancos failed to impress in the Spanish Super Cup semis, with the team losing to Athletic Club, and, no doubt, they are determined to get back on course. Real Madrid can’t afford yet another shocking defeat, and we are positive that Zinedine Zidane’s troops are going to take Wednesday’s football match very seriously.
Sergio Ramos misses the match with injury, but even though Zidane will rest several first-team regulars against Alcoyano, away win should be considered. The Segunda B side did well to beat Huesca in the previous Copa del Rey round, but we do not believe that they are capable of claiming yet another major scalp. In their last meeting at the venue Real Madrid recorded a routine 4-1 win over Alcoyano.
